Let them play for as long as the suds last. Have fun!

Time to Play: Pour with Water ⛲️
Turn on the faucet or the hose and let kids feel the water run over their hands or feet. Find a bucket and cup. Ask children to count how many cups it takes to fill the bucket. Find a few different waterproof objects in the house or in the yard. Ask children to count how many objects float, and how many objects sink. Then, let the magic happen as they find their own ways to pour and play with water.
For more inspiration, we love Tinkergarten's “Water Playground” activity. Add more tools to the water park, like funnels and sponges. Get to know Tinkergarten, the leader in outdoor classes and activities for kids that stimulate playful learning.

Have an ocean-themed bath. If you have blue food coloring, add a few drops to the bathwater. Shaving cream on the backsplash could be drawn as ocean waves. Seashells are handy additions so kids can arrange, inspect, and pour. If you have an extra sponge, cut it into a star shape to make sea stars. Or, gather the middle of a washcloth with a rubber band to make the head of an octopus. Don’t be surprised if entirely new, never-discovered sea creatures emerge!
Weekend Bonus: Wash the Car! 🚙
We’ve had so much fun creating #CampKhanKids Water Week activities that we added a new one for the weekend: washing the car! Grab a bucket, some soap, a sponge, and a hose. Set kids to work rinsing off a dusty car. Family members can each have a job: rinser, washer, window-squeegee cleaner, and dryer. Feeling ambitious? Find a duster to wipe down the dashboard, too. Maybe this sparkling clean vehicle will prompt a Sunday drive for the whole family.
